Responsibilities:
o Conduct field visits to jobsites to observe and evaluate construction work.
Construction would typically involve multidiscipline projects (i.
e.
pump stations, WTP, WWTP, etc.
)o Coordinate and oversee material testing according to prescribed procedures on soil, concrete, bituminous and aggregate materialso Monitor construction scheduleo Capable of monitoring construction activities for compliance with contract documents.
o Capable of preliminary approval of payment estimates prepared by contractors.
o Proficient at producing thorough, accurate, and concise quantities, daily reports, and other related documents.
o Capable of organizing and processing project records.
o Capable of monitoring the site safety of HRC personnel.
o Assuring all equipment and/or materials incorporated into the work is in accordance with shop drawings and specifications.
o Assisting Project Managers in the preparation of Request for Quotations, Change Orders, and Request for Information.
o Proficient in processing project records on computers, including material generated by others.
o Capable of observing and documenting individual equipment startups for compliance with contract documents.
o Capable of making decisions based off previous experience when appropriate.
o Capable of attending and facilitating preconstruction meetings and progress review meetings.
o Effective and respectful communication skills with staff, contractors, clients, and the public.
Qualifications:
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and writteno Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadershipo Minimum 15 years relative experience including 5 years in multi-disciplined projects.
o Ability to read and interpret construction documents, plans and specificationso Strong math skillso Basic computer skills are requiredo Applicants must pass a pre-employment physical and substance abuse testo Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to travel throughout MichiganEducationPreferredBachelors or better in Civil Engineering or related field.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
