As a Cannabis Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making prompt and safe deliveries of our cannabis products to customers' doorsteps.
The essential functions include but are not limited to the following.
Safely transport cannabis products from our dispensary to customer locations in a timely manner.
Check and verify assigned orders against delivery manifest before leaving the dispensary.
Manage a route efficiently, ensuring on-time deliveries to customers while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure all necessary delivery paperwork, such as invoices and delivery receipts, are accurately completed and collected from customers.
Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering any delivery-related questions or concerns they may have.
Follow all packaging and labeling guidelines to ensure product safety and regulatory compliance during transportation.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies such as insulated bags, GPS devices, and safety equipment.
Adhere to all safety protocols, including secure handling of cash transactions and verification of customer identification during deliveries.
Complete all required delivery logs, mileage records, and other documentation as instructed.
Collaborate with the retail team to coordinate delivery schedules, provide feedback on customer preferences, and assist with inventory management when necessary.
Stay updated with local regulations, industry trends, and product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned Must be comfortable using personal vehicle.
Milage to be paid per delivery Technical Skills Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred.
Familiarity with local traffic regulations and routes.
Ability to handle and transport cannabis products safely and securely.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to complete accurate paperwork.
Punctuality and reliability in meeting delivery schedules.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple deliveries.
Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and their effects is a plus.
Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy and integrity.
Must be at least 21 years old to comply with legal cannabis industry requirements.
