For your consideration is this exceptional McIntosh MC7270 power amplifier. This is a highly regarded classic McIntosh model that delivers a conservatively rated 270 watts per channel into loads down to 1 ohm. Effortless transparency and accurate, three dimensional sound staging are the sonic attributes exuded by this piece of equipment. The unit has just been professionally serviced and refurbished. In addition to a new glass faceplate, the amplifier has been completely recapped. All critical audio path components have been replaced with components from Elna (Silmic II), Nippon Chemi Con, and Nichicon. All incandescent bulbs were replaced with LED lights which has enhanced the displays substantially. The amplifier has been bench tested and is performing well above spec. With proper care, this amplifier will last you for the rest of your natural lifetime. All work was completed by an executive level electronics professional with 44 years of technical experience. Buyer will receive all replaced components including the faceplate. Cosmetically, the unit is excellent. The left volume knob has a minor abrasion that is only visible upon very close inspection. The labels on top have occasional imperfection. When shelved, the unit appears as mint.I would be very pleased to share and audition the amplifier for interested parties.
